NREMT Transition Requirements
The NREMT recently mandated the transition from EMT-Paramedic to Paramedic for those currently certified through the NREMT or obtaining certification. The new Paramedic curricula is based upon new educational content and guidelines established through the National Scope of Practice Module for Paramedics. This EMS University Paramedic Refresher Course meets the requirements through the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS).
