Recently, the NREMT mandated all providers to transition from the EMT-Paramedic level to the Paramedic level. NREMT Certification Makes Recertifying Your County EMS Certification Easier
When you take a NREMT recertification course, you can use the Continuing Education hours towards your San Diego County EMS Certification. This helps to make the recertification process easier. Moving In State
The state of California requires that Paramedics who wish to transfer to California are either certified in another state or hold current NREMT certification in order to practice as an Paramedics in California.
